Elephants beside the coast at Phuket Siray Elephant Care Camp

Meet Our Elephants in Phuket

Get to know the elephants as individuals during a guided visit on Koh Siray. Spend time with their caretakers, learn about their diet and ask about the personalities of the elephants you meet.

Getting to know each elephant

Our guided feeding program gives you time with the elephants and the people who care for them. Ask your guide to introduce the elephants you meet and explain the food prepared for your visit.

For information about an individual elephant’s age or background before you visit, ask our team directly.

Food and daily care

Elephant food is included in both programs. During Feed & Care, guests offer prepared food with guidance from the team. The longer beach program also includes making vitamin balls and a walk alongside the elephants.

Our guide to what elephants eat introduces the variety in an elephant’s diet. Your guide can explain what is being offered during your session.

Room to rest and time by the water

The camp has space for the elephants to move, socialize and rest beside the sea. Fresh drinking water is provided, and the mahouts guide beach sessions at a pace shaped by the elephants’ comfort.

Guests join shoreline and shower activities when appropriate for the elephants. Read about elephant welfare and supervised interactions before choosing a program.

Questions for the care team

Individual needs matter. If you would like to understand an elephant’s daily routine, rest arrangements or veterinary care, contact the camp before your visit. The team can help with questions about the elephants you may meet.
